Raise your flat-screen television from a cabinet at the touch of a button. With the Nexus 21 Lift System, build the nicest TV accessory available: the smoothest, quietest, safest and most reliable lift for your LCD and Plasma TV, cappuccino machine or mini bar – the possibilities are limitless.
Add style and elegance to your room while preserving space – the design of this TV hardware starts at “ground zero” with a 1/8″ steel plate that serves as the TV mount and attaches to the bottom of the cabinet. This allows for a very compact cabinet with almost the entire space dedicated to the LCD TV, and very little to house the lift mechanism.
It’s smooth and fast, taking less than 15 seconds to fully open or close, and it’s whisper quiet at less than 50 db. Slow start and slow stop software are installed to enhance smoothness, and anti-collision™ safety software is included.
Use this innovative Nexus 21 lift system in a pop up cabinet at the foot of the bed, in the family room, or any room including the kitchen. It also works well in tight quarters like an RV or boat.
Specifications:
Weight capacity is 180 lbs (81 kg). The lift has 26 1/2″ of vertical travel which accommodates most 42″ and some 45″ screens with speaker on the side. (If the speakers are on the bottom, you may be limited to a 32″ screen.) You will need to make sure the vertical dimension from the top of the TV to the bottom of the viewing area is less than 26 1/2″.
Determining cabinet size:
The lift system is 22″ high. The inside height of the cabinet should be as little as 23″ as long as the TV does not exceed this dimension. Otherwise, the height of the cabinet is dictated by the height of the TV. The lift and brackets are 5″ deep, so the TV with bracket requires approximately 9″ of depth. The width will depend on the width of the TV. A minimum of 1/2″ is recommended on either side of the TV.
Installation:
Installing the Nexus 21 lift system is easy and should take less than a half hour. The only tools required are an electric drill, wrench and level.
Components:
The system comes complete with an IR remote control; a hardwire up/down switch; lift column and control box; all necessary brackets and hardware, including extender brackets; and a wire management system with all wiring.
